How Did We Get Here?
We believe technology can make your life easier. We started a company to prove it!
The Computer Doctors have been supplying Southern New England customers with technology and computer related support at their homes and offices since 2004.
When you call the Computer Doctors, you do not get a “geek”, you get a trusted, friendly professional to help you with your business IT or your home computer issues. We give honest, easy-to-understand answers and options to our customers and we help them make informed decisions about their computer and technology issues.
Our core beliefs guide us in everything that we do and make us who we are.
We Believe In Fair Pricing
When billing, we consistently “round down” to the increment, something unheard of in the industry. Our customers will never be charged for such things as waiting for a virus or spyware scan to complete. Regardless of your budget, you will receive a cost-effective solution because we treat each and every project as if it were special to us - because it is.
We Believe an Informed Customer is the Best Customer
We are not an easy in / easy out operation. We enjoy entertaining your questions and educating our customers as to what we’re doing and why. We want our customers to take advantage of the time we have together to pick our brains.
We Believe You Are a VIP
Celebrity-class attention will always be paid to your support and service request, regardless of what needs to be done. Our customers never share the same spotlight, because we buy a new spotlight for each new customer.
We Believe Down Time Is Not Acceptable
If you run a business and a computer fails, it will cost you money. If your personal computer fails, it can cost you your sanity. If you’re a student and your computer crashes the day before a project is due, it can cost you your grade. None of our customers should ever have to deal with downtime. Unfortunately, some down time is unavoidable, but we do everything we can to get you back up and running ASAP, whether it’s by using loaner computers or burning the midnight oil to get your problem resolved.
We serve a wide variety of industries of all different sizes. Whether you’re a micro business performing the one man show, or have multiple offices with a staff to match, we have you covered. A few specialties that our team of small business experts pride themselves on.
Professionals like attorneys, CPAs, insurance brokers, contractors, real estate agencies, and beyond all come to us to make sure their IT solutions give them the power to communicate more efficiently, keep their clients’ data secure, and have the peace of mind knowing the computer systems they rely so heavily on are going to “just work.”
Our experience working with healthcare providers gives your practice the peace of mind it needs. HIPAA compliancy can be a tricky subject that requires a team of seasoned professionals. Let us handle your IT needs, so you can focus on providing the care your patients deserve.
We enjoy taking on the challenge that private clubs have to offer. Most country clubs, athletic clubs, and social clubs have a unique set of needs that can include membership management, food & beverage, and communications that our team will customize to your needs.
The hospital industry has extremely demanding IT needs. Your clientele demands an always-on infrastructure that delivers effortlessly. WiFi, communications, event planning, and beyond are all tasks that our team is ready to tackle.
The Computer Doctors is a boutique IT services provider that specializes in supporting residential and small to medium businesses from our prominent storefront location in the beautiful seaside town of Tiverton, Rhode Island. We’re a small team that has a big impact with our clients. Our clients know us by name and face which allows us to provide a white glove treatment they can’t find from larger firms. With a fun and laid back environment, a customer base that we adore and adores us back, working at the Computer Doctors is an ideal way to explore your passion for technology and helping people.
If you love technology, greet challenges with a shit eating grin, and take pride in the way you can help people, The Computer Doctors want to hear from you.
All positions involve help desk duties, working directly with customers remotely, in office, and at client sites. We’re a small team where everyone, including the owners, wear many hats. If this sounds like a good fit for you, please submit your cover letter and resume.
